bottle courtesy of mgumby: pours a good dark caramel brown with a decent creamy off white head. aroma is bourbon, slight fresh herbs or grass, some caramel, not as over powering as i would think. flaovur is exceptionally smooth, good dark caramel malts alittle roast, good oak and bourbon excellent.

Rating #666, Angels, Devils.......666 .....you get the point. 375ml bottle from the Brewery. Wow..........what else can i say but wow!! Poured a deep, dark brown with a very carbonated head. When I popped the bottle, it spewed for about 5 minutes or so then calmed down. Awesome nose of candied fruits (cherries, plums, dates) and sweet caramel malt. Flavor had bits of oak, spice and hints of sweet candied fruit. This one was well worth the wait!!

Deep brown, opaque pour topped with a foamy layer of deep tan bubbles. Wonderful nose of cherries, vanilla, bourbon, and oak. Palate is every so slightly chewy, but smooth with light, soft carbonation. Taste is exquisite – tart cherries, whiskey and oak. Just an absolutely fantastic beverage! (Bottle thanks to WeeHeavy) Pours dark mahogany, reddish brown with a sand colour/light-brown head. Sweet vanilla-ish, sugary bourbon and caramel/ buttery fudge-like malt up front in the aroma. The undertones are full of dark, dried fruits like raisins, plums and figs, earthy hops, maple syrup, English fruitcake, toasted nuts, blackberries and tropical pineapple and banana hints. The nose is extremely soft and the bourbon is well integrated. The flavour is of bourbon, vanilla, caramel, buttery fudge, plums, figs, sweet blackberries, toasted nuts, English fruitcake and maple syrup. The mouthfeel is soft, velvety carbonated, light sticky, chewy and light grassy bitter in the finish. Lingering aftertaste of overripe dark fruits, light bitter hops and sweet malt. Medium to full bodied.

Bottle shared with ksurkin from Immy. Thank you! Caramelized bourbon and raisin aromas with a little whiff of alcohol. Alcohol very well integrated on the palate. Very smooth and palate caressing malts tasting of raisin, caramel, and black raspberry . Finish lingers with a bourbon-esque and caramel flavor. Loved it!

Had at EBF Boston. Pours a dark amber with a off-white head. Aromas of bourbon , caramel and some dark fruits. Aroma describes the flavor with some chocolate also. Amazing Beer.

sweet bourbon aroma with raisins and caramel. Light smooth aroma. Dark brown body with massive brown head. An amazing light body with just a hint of fire. A nice light finish with smooth caramel malt flavor.

Pours out dark brown-black. Smells is sweet fruity bourbon. Taste is great, rich, roasty, creamy with some heat. Smooth but complex, very good.
