On tap at Stone Sourfest. Pours with no head and a hazy brown body. Aroma is vinous, with berries, honey and chocolate. Taste is sweet with chocolate, vinous notes, honey, and pretty heavenly. Light bubbles.

On tap at Stone Sour Fest 09. Cloudy dark brown with a touch of red and a thin off white film. Aroma is light and sugary with a touch of dust and oxidation. Flavor is sweet and tart with a good deal of funk, some sour milk, a hint of red apple and some lemon-lime soft drink near the end. Thick on the palate with light carbonation.

Tap @ Stone Sour Fest 2009. Pours a rusty brown color with a small beige ring, light lacing. Nose of sweet and sour raspberries, dark cherries and raisins, some vinegar and oak in there as well. Flavors are much like the nose with less emphasis on the fruit and more on the vinegar and oak. The finish was overall a little thin and disappointing.

On tap at Stone Sour Fest 2009. Poured a dark brown color, tiny head. Aroma was very faint with some dried fruit and caramel and some oxidation. Flavor is more sweet than tart which really surprised me. Pallet is very smooth. Overall really tasty.

Shared by Tertons. Very interesting blend here. Light spice and honey. Nothing over the top. Nothing special. Just something different.

Reviewed at the 2007 Strong Ale festival A- dark murky brown hue, off-white thin layer of head, thick lacing S- Dark fruits (figs/plums), as well as tones of green apples, bread malts, floral and spice, light coffee/chocolate T- Delicious sweet dark fruits up front, followed by subtle fruity sourness and berries that linger through the finish, then the OV chocolate/coffee/caramel malts, very well-balanced and delicious M- Light/medium-bodied, watery texture, lively carbonation D- Very delicious and easy-to-drink, balanced yet complex blend of wonderful sweet and malty flavors, alcohol is well-masked.

Sampled at the ’08 LA Barrel Night. Pours a deep brown with a slight red hue and a thin layer of head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is of dark fruits, a little funk, and maybe a little port wine. Flavor is dominated by the dark fruits and raspberry characters. There are undertones of caramel malts and oak. It is definitely a complex brew but as stated in other ratings, a little sweet.
