Poured a medium and cloudy golden/yellow color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of brett, woody, citrus, and fruity. Tastes of citrus, lemony, brett, funky, vanilla, and just all around ’greatness’. Had a nice tart and puckering finish that wasn’t overpowering. This one kept me wanting more...I must have more. egajdzis (3625), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of brett, wild yeast, lambic funk, vanilla oak, some green apple, grapes, and citrus fruits. Taste of citrus fruit, brett, more lambic funk, tropical fruits, and a sour finish. Congrats to Steve, and thanks to Chris. TomDecapolis (3162), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a milky yellow/golden with a smaller bubbly white head. Aroma was....wow...great. Floral, grapefruit, acidic, tropical fruits, funky, perfume and doughy notes. Flavor was rather tart, lots of gueuze character, grapefruit, acidic, tart and very nice. MesandSim (5833), London, Greater London, England

Hazy golden brown with a thin white head. Not the best smelling beer I have had from Lost Abbey by a long shot. A little too much funk and nappies going on. The flavour however is effing excellent. Sour and funky yet with an incredible creamy fruit hint. The CdT is definitely showing and for me thats a pan handle inspiringly good thing. Zesty and sharp yet strangely fruity and full. Clearly a blended product but clearly a good one too. Maybe a little straight forward but it does what it does so well it’s not really a problem. Amazing peachy notes really late on. Great length. Tasty as hell. Shame about the little number twos in the aroma. mreusch (727), Olathe, Kansas, USA

Pours a bright hazy golden with a one finger bright white head that drifts down to a thin but complete covering, moderate retention and lacing. Aroma, yes, flavor, yes. This is a very accessible and nuanced beer; not quite Isabelle Proximus, but darn close. Thanks again for the rare treat John! PhillyBeer2112 (2086), Orange Park, Florida, USA

Big round pleasing sour with fruity funk up to the finish. Outstanding and the winner of the throwdown! arrogantb (701), Denver, Colorado, USA

It starts to rush out of the bottle so be careful but it didn’t quite gush. Nice cloudy orange color, looks like a nice gueuze. My first impression of the smell reminded me of a cantillon and then it quickly went away, funky, bretty, needs more horseblanket. The flavor is sour with peach flavors and I realized this reminds me of Fou Foune. The finish is interesting but I can’t really define the flavor. I think I liked 003 better but I sure would like to try Yellow Bus or duck duck gueze alone. This beer was pretty nice and I’ll look forward to possibly trying 005 in the future, whenever that is.

Aroma is of barnyard funk, peach, and lemon. Flavor is tart but not overwhelming with strong peach and funk characters. I can’t wait to crack one of these bottles. This was a damn good one.
