1/07/2009: Lost Abbey Witch’s Wit has a spicy and slightly sour. It has a hazy, pale golden color with a slightly peachy hue to it with a minimal, quickly diminishing, off-white head. A faint wheat maltiness is present in the flavor along with a really light fruitiness and weak corriander-like spice and yeastiness. This beer has a medium-light body an soft palate. Overall this Wit seems a bit weak in character to me, but very drinkable and refreshing none the less...

Bottle with the Club. Pours a pale hazy yellow. Sweet with aromas of Belgian yeast. Hints of banana. Some wheat aromas and a slightly soapy hint towards the end. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a small pure white foamy head with minimal retention and some pretty good lacing. Aroma is sweet and somewhat cloying. Taste is also way too sweet for the style with honey taking too much place in the flavor profile.Wheat malt and spices are very subtle. Body is quite full with average carbonation. I would say this is one of the most disapointing offering from this usually fine brewery.

uklar gul farve med et meget svagt skum. Dufter af krydderier, peanuts, citrus og gær. Smagerlet af sæbe, koriander, korn, og igen en smule peanuts. Meget kort eftersmag og lidt tynd i kroppen.
