Aromas are cream, lemon and oranges with sweet wheat and plenty of yeast. Flavours are sweet lemon with wheat and yeast. Fairly dry and with lemon rind bitterness but lacking the complexity of a good Belgian Wit. Skinnyviking (4157), Copenhagen, Denmark

Sweet honey aroma with a hint of coriander. Flavor though far more bitter than indicated by the aroma. Lemon rather than honey. Short aftertaste. Low carbonation. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear dark yellow with a small, fizzy, white head, somewhat diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt -bread, hay, straw-, average hops -flowers, grass-, average yeast -horse blanket, earth- with notes of grape, apple, and pear. Light bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness. eaglefan538 (2368), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 20, 2008 Bottle I think from bockyhorsey. Pour was ok for the style, hazy golden-straw colored, head a little on the weak side actually. The aroma was grassy, wheaty, slight notes of coriander, but on the lighter side of usual for wits. The flavor followed, but the grassy, wheaty, and faint citrus notes left me wanting more. Lacking in the orange peel and spice arenas. The body and flavor in general needed more depth. Not a great example of the style but ok. Thanks, Bill! tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 10, 2008 Short rating. 750ml bottle. Odd aroma. A bit of chlorine pool with some thyme and basil. Slightly soapy. White grape juice. Just the smallest hint of sweeter wheat and citrus. Pours a bright, clear gold with a quickly disappearing white head. Flavor definitely shows the honey more than the aroma. Super refreshing. I could drink the shit out of this in the summer. Really not a whole lot to it, though. Slightly bready. Lighter citrus notes. Leaning toward full bodied for the style with a crisp, snappy finish. Not a lot here, but still tasty. Rciesla (3686), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 7, 2008 Wow the picture here looks even more awesome then my bottle. LIght hazy yellow golden body, big white frothy head. Wheat, citrus, lightly malty, honey, grape, and a zesty breadiness. Decent.
