Honestly this is exactly what you would expect... Hazy pale yellow. Aromas of Citrus, Coriander, spice and yeast, Flavors the same. Nothing special, but still good for the style.

Pours gold with a white head. Smells of citrus, spice, wheat, coriander. Tastes dry with a nice coriander finish.

Mild unappreciative thanks to ajm for splitting this one with me. Poured a hazy golden color from the bomber with a faint white head and noticeable yeast concentrated at the bottom of the glass. Smells and tastes of faint everything -- citrus, hops, wheat, yeast, and grass. Finishes with a flourish of banana, but that’s about the most exciting thing about this brew.

hazy (cloudy at the bottom) pale gold/straw color with a small white head and light spotty lacing. the aroma is dusty, wheaty, earth, straw, lemon with savory yeast and skunky grassy hops. there is a nice acidity on the palate and a lack of spiciness which is bonus... lemon-y tartness, cinnamon, yeast, skunk, grassy hops and a dry finish. banana is noticed in the aftertaste. medium body. prickly dry mouth feel with some grittiness in the texture. this is refreshing and highly drinkable... if it weren’t so expensive.

Pours a clear light gold with a short-lived bubbly white head that fades to a collar quickly leaving no lacing. The aroma has a healthy Belgian yeast sweetness up front with hints of banana and honey. There is also a bit of spices, especially clove and coriander, though very subtle. The taste is a bigger version of the nose with the initial sweetness giving way to a much healthier spice kick than the nose indicates. There is a bit of hop kick in the finish leaving some bitterness, but not much. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with good carbonation. This a decent witbier that is very drinikable. Another good effort from Lost Abbey.

Bottle from Stan @ Lone Hill. My friends thought this was weak, flat and unexciting; while I admit I was looking for more grapefruit indications, I interpreted this beer as greatly smooth for a Wit. Not lemony or raucous in the way that Hooegarden is, this beer contains very slight honey, and I think the grapefruit zest counteracts the tartness usually around in a Wit - maybe a bit too well.

#991 750 ml bottle picked up at Port Solana: Pale cloudy straw color with a medium white head. Spicy, wheaty aroma with some citrus and a hint of banana. Flavor starts light lemon and wheat, lightly tart with some light grapefruit in the finish. Medium-light body has moderate carbonation. Light and refreshing.

750 ml bottle courtesy of bvc. Pour is cloudy yellow golden with a smallish white head. Aroma of earthy hay, wheat, and some light coriander spiciness. Herbal, menthol, some clove. Taste is herbal, sweet honey and the wheat grassiness. All the flavors are nicely integrated, though the overall effect is a bit subdued. Really didn’t get any of the grapefruit.
