smooth and lightly creamy; fair carbonation; hazy gold-yellow body with foamy white head; buttery wheat bread, honey, and somewhat fruity with subtle spices (might be nutmeg in there); this is really put together to me; i really liked this.

Hazy golden color, moderate head with good lacing and retention. Aroma is wheaty, lightly tart, some bread and sweet pale malts, lightly spiced. Lighter bodied, fairly sweet with a little bit of banana. Decent but unexciting.

Yellow gold. Vigorous pour yields a quickly diminishing white head. Subdued aroma of bubblegum, white pepper, lemon glaze, coriander, unripe banana, lime peels, and lightly toasted grains. Distant scent of glue/paint. Softly carbonated and somewhat fuzzy on the palate. Initially dryly malty with a dusting of hay, crackers, and a light tang reminiscent of fermented wheat. Tight lime peel bitterness underscores the dainty grain-derived sweetness as well as the denser underlying peach- and melon-like fruitiness and glimpse of unsweetened lemon cake. Herbal bitterness and crisp malts try to cleanse the palate, though the beer takes on a medicinal character due to the fusion of faint yet perceptible slippery fruitiness and alcohol. Faint hint of plastic is detectable. Hops reveal some late flowery qualities, though the finish is primarily dominated by spicy warmth, banana, and lesser notes of lightly toasted grain. Pretty flabby, overly spicy and, as with many Lost Abbey beers, nothing interesting imparted by the yeast. Very ordinary and far from a standout rendition.

Bottle. Somewhat grainy aroma with some coriander spices. Hazy yellow body with white head. Soapy fruity zesty flavor along with dry bittering grains. Easy on the palate. Mild dryness on the palate. For witbeirs they are either good or bad. This one alright in the middle.

Pours gold into a tumbler. White head recedes to nothing. Clove aromas. Sweet malts, wheat and marshmallows upfront with a dry, clovey corriander and grapefruit finish.

Pours a hazy yellow to golden color with a nice white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, coriander and spices. Flavor is coriander, banana, cloves, spices, honey> Easy drinking and very refreshing with a little grapefruit skin bitterness after the finish.

I affectionately call this one "Bitches Clit". Bottle from Capone’s. Pours hazy deep gold with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is funky, yeasty, with limey hopcitrus, floral spices, and peppery notes. Tastes malty, on the sweet side, with limey citrus, clovey spice, yeasty florals, and Belgian rock sugary notes. The palate is complex, and the repour gets significantly cloudier, with more limeyy and Belgian funky notes. This one is nice.
