Commercial Description:
Not for the faint hearted! Our stout rewards the palate with robust flavor of roasted malts (malts are roasted like coffee beans) and heavy hops. A creamy smooth surprise.

Pours rich black coffee color with small aerated head. Aromas of freshly brewed java, vanilla, and caramel. Rich, but a little fizzy, mouthfeel gives enough to chew on. Nuanced flavors are balanced and moreish. Initial flavors are vanilla bean and cocoa, like chocolate fudge swirl. Roasted flavors and especially cappuccino comes out later, and finishes clean if not a bit too fast.

Thank you Tom/After4ever for this one! It’s black with a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, sweetness, a touch of chocolate. The flavour is sweetish with notes of roasted malt, chocolate and sweet licorice. It’s mild and mellow, straight forward and uncomplicated.

A terrific beer, perfectly sweet but also smoky and oaky and slightly charred. Lovely to look at. Lost Coast is a great brewer.

Bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Sweet nose with notes of roasted malt, milk chocolate and coffee. Medium/full body with a large impression of sweet milk chocolate and coffee. Roasted malt and hops balance well. Very enjoyable.

served cold from bottle. this stout pours a very dark brown (probably black when not looking directly into the light with my pint glass) with a light brown head, good lacing. the aroma is quite sweet, with some hints of chocolate and coffee. excellent flavor, really sweet and creamy. some roasted coffee, chocolate and malts. i could drink a ton of these.

Foam Rangers January meeting. Dark black with mocha head. Roasted coffee nose with hops as well. I like. Flavor is great creamy mix of coffee, chocolate, malts and a good hop presence.
