Aroma is of raisins, a hint of grass and some coffee and chocolate. In the mouth, it’s slightly watery and very carbonated. It’s more dry than sweet, with decent levels of roasted malts and traces of what’s in the aroma. Solid. gunhaver (1044), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 11, 2007 Pours a pitch black color with a thin brown head. The aroma is big of rasted malts, a little coffee, some chocolate, and a hint of hops. The taste follows much the same with all the roastiness coming through. It is medium bodied and pretty creamy as well. It finishes smooth with chocolate and roasted flavors left behind. A really full flavored and easy drinking stout.
