Commercial Description:
Not for the faint hearted! Our stout rewards the palate with robust flavor of roasted malts (malts are roasted like coffee beans) and heavy hops. A creamy smooth surprise.

Bottle. Pours a deep black body with thin head. Aroma is of roasted malt, a slight creamy coffee scent. Flavor is slightly sweet, creamy, a nice roastiness to it. Very drinkable.

Pours pitch black with a thin bubbly light brown head. The taste is very roasty, some coffee, dark malts, chocolate, and just a flutter of some hops. The taste is big on the roast and is medium bodied. It has a good dose of chocolate and coffee in the finish. The aftertaste is mostly roast, the mouthfeel is medium to full. Good session stout. very easy drinking and enjoyable.

Pours black with a thin tan head. Light licorice aroma with mild roast up front. Medium-bodied, lightly carbonated. Nice roast and licorice combo with a real dry finish. Not bad. Kind of like a AAA stout to Bell’s major league Kalamazoo.

Bottle: Black with a small tan head. Aroma of heavy roast and mocha. Tastes of roasted malt, coffee, light bittersweet chocolate tones, and light hops. Just a hint of licorice. Nice creamy mouthful and overall a tasty stout.

This had a good burnt malt aroma.average head.Color a nice black.I was a bit disappointed in the taste.Itr was good, but not great.Had an underlining bitter and sour taste.Coffee, burntness, and generally a stout taste,EXCEPT where was the chocolate??I think a great stout should have that chocolate taste and be sticky on the palate.

Bottle. Medium-sized head that lasts. Aroma is mild dry coffee with some cocoa and grassy hops. Flavor is very mild, and mostly the same as the aroma, maybe a hint of smoke also. Palate is dry, very smooth and slightly watery - maybe just a tad more than medium-bodied.

Appearance: Pours an oily black body with a small, sand-colored head. Smell: Enjoyable aroma of sweet milk chocolate, roasted malts, and with just a hint of smoke. Taste: More sweet milk chocolate flavors, along with instant coffee, butterscotch, and a subdued grassy hop flavor. Short finish that’s roasted and dry. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with a superlative oatmeal creaminess. Drinkability: An agreeable light, easy drinking light stout.

A great stout. I really really enjoyed this one. Nice dark appearance with a chocolate aroma. Has almost the same qualities as Guinness.
