The aroma hints of a chocolate malty taste which the beer delivers, also with a hint of coffee. This is the first sweet stout I have tried and it was a great introduction to this kind of beer. Just like with Jesus’ disciples, it took a while for me to clearly understand this holy message, but I eventually got it. This beer was tasty then, and it has only become better with age. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, a bit of smoke, and a touch of molasses. Flavor is rich milk chocolate, coffee, a little caramel and a touch of molasses. Nice medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Carbonated just about right for a sweet stout. Nice dry finish. A very drinkable stout that I could easily get used to. I liked this one..
