It had the definate flavor of coffee. However it was surprising on the way down. Very silky smooth. Changed (167), Ithaca, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 27, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours thinner than most stouts. Beige head, slight lacing. Roasty malts, coffee aroma and taste. Again, this stout is light compared to most, and at 5.9%, it could probably be a "session stout," if there ever was such one. Overall, I’m a little underwhelmed. iamqueensblvd (237), , Iowa, USA
