Jul 18, 2006 My favorite stout of all time. A reliable beer that never disappoints. Pours dark black with a thin head that is typical of a stout. Robust aroma of coffee, vanilla, toffee, and roasted malts. The taste is what does it for me though. It is just so smooth and almost sweet with a complex flavor for an oatmeal stout. Brown sugar, vanilla, coffee, and chocolate. A great stout and my all time most purchased beer.
