obguthr (986), Poquoson, Virginia, USA Nov 7, 2009 Faint malty aroma with orange and cherry notes. Copper colored with floaties and no head. Grapefruit, cherries, and toffee flavor with a lemon peel finish. Quite hoppy for an amber. Perhaps too bitter in the end. CanIHave4Beers (835), Des Moines, Iowa, USA Nov 5, 2009 Pours a nice hazy orange with a medium head. The aroma is light caramel and plenty of floral hops. The flavor is fruity and hoppy with a distinct orange character. The beer is slightly minerally and largely dry. It’s a pretty standard amber. travita (1861), Frisco, Texas, USA Oct 8, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Sort of amber in color with an off white head. The smell is a mix mosh of hops and malts combining at once the best and worst of each. Stays the same in the taste as well. puggy211 (576), cordova, Tennessee, USA Oct 7, 2009 pretty good amber ale, pours smooth with medium head. light bitterness and good compliment of flavors. AtlAggie (131), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 1, 2009 Amber-orange color. Slightly sweet aroma, hints of yeast, bread, and mild hops. Decent balance between malts and hops makes it easy to drink. Nothing overly remarkable, but a solid beer. Rustyham (545), miami, Florida, USA Sep 22, 2009 sweet malty smell. flavor is bready but not sweet. surprisingly average, which is good that it’s not bad. On tap at the Yard House in Miami. milljam (562), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Sep 1, 2009 More hopped than most Ambers, but still a good beer overall. Bit weak in the aroma (mainly weak malt and some hops). The flavor however, is great. Good balance between malt and hops....sweet and fresh, with a hint of bitterness in the finish.
