Commercial Description:
A full-flavored amber ale made with roasted caramel malt. Richly colored and medium-bodied, Alleycat is an assertive blend of malts with a sprightly cascade of hops.

Faint malty aroma with orange and cherry notes. Copper colored with floaties and no head. Grapefruit, cherries, and toffee flavor with a lemon peel finish. Quite hoppy for an amber. Perhaps too bitter in the end.

Pours a nice hazy orange with a medium head. The aroma is light caramel and plenty of floral hops. The flavor is fruity and hoppy with a distinct orange character. The beer is slightly minerally and largely dry. It’s a pretty standard amber.

On tap at the brewpub. Sort of amber in color with an off white head. The smell is a mix mosh of hops and malts combining at once the best and worst of each. Stays the same in the taste as well.

Amber-orange color. Slightly sweet aroma, hints of yeast, bread, and mild hops. Decent balance between malts and hops makes it easy to drink. Nothing overly remarkable, but a solid beer.

More hopped than most Ambers, but still a good beer overall. Bit weak in the aroma (mainly weak malt and some hops). The flavor however, is great. Good balance between malt and hops....sweet and fresh, with a hint of bitterness in the finish.
