A full-flavored amber ale made with roasted caramel malt. Richly colored and medium-bodied, Alleycat is an assertive blend of malts with a sprightly cascade of hops.

Golden orange with barley any head. Smells surprisingly of crazy hops, but the taste is clean, but sadly the smell tricked me into thinking it was crazy hoppy! Probably get this beer again sometime!

12 oz bottle, suprised me with the hop aroma. Flavor is caramel and light hops. Full carbonation and bod. Very drinkable good beer.

Deep orangey-brown, moderate cream coloured head. Moderately malty, with a nice balance of citrus and resin hoppiness. Very nice.

Deep orange and hazy. Tiny fizzle-head. Bland caramel aroma. Finely balanced. Excellent hop character. Healthy, soft palate. Table beer potential. Too bad about the nose!

Amber. Smell roasted, caramel malts. Taste sweet and with hop flavoring. Good blend. I definitely enjoyed this beer.

Oct. 2006 - Amber pour, rich caramel aroma. Caramel flavor with some floral notes and mild bitterness. A bit watery and thin and overcarbonated, but not horrible.

Appearance: Pours a clear, deep amber body with a medium-sized, off-white head. Smell: Aroma of toasted caramel malts, a touch of roast, and pine-scented hops. Taste: Biscuity, caramel maltiness with a restrained sweetness. Faint hint of roast. Piney, zesty hop flavor with a medium bitterness. Lingering zest and spice on the bitter finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A solid, West Coast-style amber.

Pours a nice colour of amber, head was small and thick, nose weak but pleasant. Taste of dark fruit and malts, water and a bit tinny. finish is unimpressive.
