Pours a bright, amber honey color w/ modest head. Aromas of caramel and citrus. Medium nectar w/ good carbonation. The texture almost goes creamy. A solid malt backbone supports nuancs of caramel, citrus, and mild herb . The finish is bittered nicely leaving a mild citrus essence to remember. This is a solid amber.

bottle. picked this one up in FL over the holidays... not too bad. A very drinkable and refreshing amber ale. pours a deep amber with a nice soft white head that lasts throughout. not too much going on in the aroma... a slight bit of hops. Full soft body over the palate with an excellent caramel finish. Very good.

Pours a reddish amber color with a thin white head that fades quickly to just a ring around the glass. Smells pretty good, some light caramel sweetness, and plenty of malts. Just a hint of that metallic scent that lots of amber ales seem to have. Some sweet citrus in this baby, kinda hoppy, kinda malty, sweet and good. Its thin and crisp, goes down smooth with pretty standard good carbonation. Very drinkable of course, but I don’t like the labels.

12oz bottle from Bevmo La Mesa. Clear amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel and biscuits. Flavor has notes of caramel and pale malts, some grapefruit and toffee. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Mild hoppage. Medium-thin body with subtle carbonation. Decent head retention.

Light caramel malt aroma. Darkish amber color with a bubbly beige head. Medium bodied with slightly fizzy carbonation. Starts sweetish, seeming accompanied by floral/herbal hop. It is definitely fruity. The finish is a bit harshly roasted malt, with a balancing amount of floral/veg bitter. Bitter tends to build, so it’s quite good.

This beer came in my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a reddish-amber color with a medium sized orange-white head. The aroma was sweet, malty and a bit vegetal with a fairly strong fruity and floral hop element. The flavor was sweet and malty though again a bit vegetal with a spritzy fruity hop presence.

Bottle: Pours a slightly murky amber with a wispy off white head. Thick spicy malt aroma. Some candy malt and light ginger cookie suggestions. Almost like a baby Barley Wine in the aroma. Mild texture, borderline thin. The flavor is somewhat mild as well, but holds a solid profile. Has a nice toastiness upfront with evident caramelized malt character and a nice ginger cookie hint later on. Finish is mildly spicy and dry. A straight forward, yet enjoyable Amber Ale.
