| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 30, 2007 Tap. Moderate malt notes of roasted and caramel, hop notes of pine and citrus peel, and a very faint broth smell for the yeast with a date aroma in the background. Head is small, creamy white with excellent lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is a slightly hazy reddish tan. Flavor starts lightly acidic and the long finish is lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate medium, between dry and watery and has a lively carbonation. A slightly above average craft beer with a nice hop boost to it. mribm (419), Hurley, New York, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 11, 2007 This copper colored ale poured from the bottle with a frothy head and a strong malt nose and a milder hint of hops in the background. I thought this amber ale had a nice malty taste, with a slight hoppiness in the finish. The malt was more prominant than the hops, but that is to be expected with an amber ale. This was a nice smooth drinking, sweet malty ale that I would buy again to go with my steak dinner. keepersj12 (805), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 7, 2007 Bottle. Nice clean amber color. Interesting aroma of malt and then hops as it warms. Very light on the tongue. Easy to drink. Flavor is subtle but is there. No bitterness. Good depth. Hints of sweetness in the flavor. I would have again. Zinister (1206), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 6, 2007 Reddish brown pour with very thin head. Nose is very light malt and not much else. Very little carbonation in this one, in fact, makes me think it is oxidized. As I’m getting very flat taste mixed with some cardboard. Finish is lousy. I hope it’s bad, cuz it ain’t good. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Sep 4, 2007 Rich amber color with a medium sized offwhite head. Smell is of light sweet malt, and some hops slowly show as it warms up. Taste is nice and sweet and malty, with creamy flavors of caramel with a faint hop bitterness that grows a bit. I really like this amber and wish I could get it here. Just what I want an amber to be. kp (8396), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
