Commercial Description:
A full-flavored amber ale made with roasted caramel malt. Richly colored and medium-bodied, Alleycat is an assertive blend of malts with a sprightly cascade of hops.

Orange hued amber color with a rather resilient, orangey tan head. Tropical and herbal hop notes in the nose that is very pleasant as it blends with the caramel malts. Flavor is also very pleasant. A nice caramel malt sweetness forms the foundation for the tropical and herbal hop qualities with a zippy bitterness to balance.

Bottle: Almost cloudy amber color with a nice off-white head. Sweet caramel and spice aroma with a well-balanced taste. I could sense a hop presence. Nothing major sticks out, but overall a pleasant amber. It leaves a mild not too sweet of an aftertaste.

Bottle via trade with AlohaC. Decent aroma and basic look, thin head with red color. The flavor is very hoppy but not as balanced as I would like it to be. Decent brew.

Poured amber with small head and good lacing, surprising with the smalle head. Aroma was of caramel malts and some hops. Flavor was much the same the aftertaste was a little off for me something sour maybe not sure didn’t like the aftertaste lets put it that way.

Poured an amber color (surprise) with a nice thin head that had great retention, pretty nice lacing. The aroma was caramel malts and some woody hops. The fllavor followed suit, although the caramel was a tad sour (diacetyl mixed in there?) with a tea bag sweetness that outlingered the hops. A diverse amber, sour, sweet and bitter all at once. Mouthfeel was moderately bodied and carbonated, a little sticky.

Draft at the Brew pub. Clear dark amber color with an ivory head. Somewhat malty aroma but it’s hard to pick up any aroma whatsoever from this beer. Sweet, malty flavor. Somewhat middle of the road but well made and enjoyable.

Bottle from Total Wine. Pours a somewhat orangish amber with a light yellow head. Aroma is of malt and light citrus. This is very easy drinking, for an amber ale, and does not weigh you down with a lot of thickness. A good amber ale.

Dark brownish amber. Slight citrus aroma. For an amber was more full than i expected but still pretty light. More maltiness in the flavor. not uch to it but just a decent brinking beer.
