Flavor was the same with some caramel. An enjoyable beer, but nothing worth searching for. IPFreely (1470), Lewiston, New York, USA

Water and mild hop flavor. A very vague and unpronounced malt flavor as well. It doesn’t taste bad it is just very one dimensional but not really in a pleasing way. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 30, 2005 Bottle. Nice deep amber color, very clear with slight bubbly head. Wonderful subtle floral hops (a Cascade finish I presume from the commercial description) on the nose wafting on top of a solid malt sweetness. Medium to medium-light body, very smooth. Mostly a rounded light malt sweetness, toffeelike, with a slight hop bitterness toward the end, much like tea’s tannin. A wonderfully balanced, well rounded beer, and quite refreshing in a way that Ambers sometimes are not-- no tacky alcohol sweet aftertaste. I liked this a lot. 5000 (2600), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
