Poured a clear reddish amber colour, dark, with a small beige head that doesn’t stick around too long. On the nose, a decent amount of hops and possibly somethign subtly sweet, like one of those fruit wraps. Taste is mellow but firm on the finish. A nice contrast between sweetness and bitter hops. marcus (1896), Sacramento, California, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 5, 2009 After a pour producing a thin white head you get light wofts of sweet malt and sugar.
Taste is very heavy with caramel. Some nice malt, and a little bit of hops to give a slight bitter bite on your tongue. Not enough to keep this one form being cloying though. iride15 (171), Orlando, Florida, USA
