Bottle 12fl.oz.
Unclear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus - orange. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to light heavy shell bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090321]

So... Lost Coast is making it’s way into town. Good idea! Poured a clear reddish amber colour, dark, with a small beige head that doesn’t stick around too long. On the nose, a decent amount of hops and possibly somethign subtly sweet, like one of those fruit wraps. Taste is mellow but firm on the finish. A nice contrast between sweetness and bitter hops.

At Sudwerk Beerfest 2009. This amber ale poured with a thin off-white head and a treacle aroma. There is a chalky smoked malt flavor with a slightly sour finish.

After a pour producing a thin white head you get light wofts of sweet malt and sugar. Taste is very heavy with caramel. Some nice malt, and a little bit of hops to give a slight bitter bite on your tongue. Not enough to keep this one form being cloying though.

Hazy orange pour and a creamy head. Hops and sweet malt nose. Sweet malt and fruit taste. Medium bodied. A little watery, bitter finish.

~Pours a cloudy amber color with lots of orange tints and big lasting creamy white head. ~Sweet malty aroma with apricot and citrus hops. ~Malty flavor, but citrus apricot hop flavor dominates. ~Smooth feel, medium bodied, citrusy acidic finish. ~Great Amber. Well made. Really enjoy the hops. Beautiful beer!
