Lost Coast Apricot Wheat

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy, yellow color with an ok white head. The same as their other wheat fruit beers. Decent, somewheat artifical, nothing special, but drinkable. Some fruits, wheat, and little hops around in the beer.

On tap at Library Alehouse. Pours Witt a fluffy white head over a cloudy orange body...clingy lacing. Sweet, wheat and artificial apricot syrup. Taste is wheaty and grainy with apricot and a bit of hop bitterness on the finish. Light bodied, medium carbonation.

For a "fruit beer" it really wasn’t too bad at all. Very enjoyable and refreshing. The aroma is that of a bowl of fruit.

Nice flavor of apricot and orange fruits like nectarines. Light body despite the wheat characteristics. Very nice beer, if nothing more than another fruity wheat beer.

On draft. Hazy yellow pour with large off-white head. Great peachy apricot aroma. Flavor doesn’t quite hold up to how great the aroma is, but still not that bad. Very wheaty. Nice fruit beer, especially for getting chicks to drink beer.

Draft @ Abbey Brewing Company. Pours hazy orange color with white head. Aromas of apricot and wheat. Lightly tart apricot flavor with some wheat. Light body with average carbonation.

Sample at Yard House in Chino Hills, CA. The beer is a hazy orange color with a thin white head that disappears almost immediately. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of apricot and other sweeter fruit and a touch of wheat. Light, sweet body with flavors of malt, wheat and overripe apricot. The finish is fruity with a short wheaty aftertaste. Unremarkable in every way.

I think this was apricot-flavored seltzer water. I couldn’t taste anything beer related and the abv seems like a misprint. On tap at The Abbey on Miami Beach
