Lost Coast is good with fruit beers and this one is no exception. On draft, it came a nice light cloudy gold color with a light purple tinge with an off-white head. Looked much like a hefe in the glass. Moderate lacing in my pint glass. Nose of cherry. Mouthfeel was very smooth and refreshing. Flavor was of cherries also, with a little vanilla malt taste. Finish was very light. For a fruit beer this is very laid back, and remarkably refreshing for the type probably because unlike a lot of this style it is not too sweet. I took home a growler and will sample again tomorrow.
