Tap at Stuffed Sandwich. Not outstanding. It’s a porter. If you want what this beer sounds like it will be, just drink a Gonzo.

Pours a deep brown with a big, tan head. Dark chocolate aroma gives way to charcoal and milk chocolate taste with lots of chocolate malt. Lots of flavor, a bit sweet for a porter.

On tap at the brewery. This dark brown ale poured with a nice creamy beige head. There is a rich chocolate flavor over a thin and carbonated body.

Draft at Mr. Dunderbak’s in Tampa. The aroma is chocolate, roast malt and hints of cocoa and fruity esters, but with a light, unwelcome, tartness. The body is dark brown to black and holds a diminishing tan head. First sip is sickly sweet and tangy tart like overripe fruit. Mild roast malt, coffee and chocolate follow. Just tastes a little off.
