On tap at Belmont Station (Thanks Gareth for the sample)--Poured a rich, dark brown body with a fluffy white head. Mild chocolate and malt nose. Flavor is initially more chocolaty than nose, but settles some. Mildly peaty and finished clean. A little thin, but overall quite good.

Bottle. Not much aroma, light sweetness. Beautiful black body with a brown head. Acidic and thin, really boring flavor. Not particularly enjoyable.

No aroma. Let it warm, still no aroma. Later, finally some faint hints of roasted coffee, chocolate. Pitch black, lovely tan head. Decent body, slightly creamy. Taste was oxidized, almost non-existant otherwise. Some chocolate and coffee.

Draught from Mr. Dunderbak’s. Dark brown pour with a 1 finger thick tan head. Good retention, breaks down to form a thin layer of bubbles and foam. Some lacing apparent as well. Nose of chocolate powder, roasty charred malts, dark fruity esters and some hop bitterness as well. Flavor picks up a bit of a metallic twang, but it fades quickly and seems to stay away. Other than that nothing of note, tastes like your average porter, but with more emphasis on the sweet chocolate and less on the roast. Medium bodied, very creamy and substantial on the palate. Finish is cocoa, dairy creamer, roasted malts and some dark fruits. Pretty good beer, better than their other two Porters that I have had.

On-tap at Cole’s. Well chocolate is in and here is another one, it does bolden a regular porter taste. Sweet lighter side mouthfeel. Mocha head on dark brown. Bittersweet chocolate but sweet stoutish flavour.

On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Aroma of roasted malts, some chocolate. pours a nice deep dark creamy brown with a light tan/khaki head. Would expect a little more chocolate in a choclate porter. Decent

Draught at Lucky Baldwins, Pasadena, California. Near black, minimal head. Aroma of raspberries and cocoa. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Dark chocolate, cocoa powder and raspberries dominates the clean flavour profile. Salty finish with some healthy bitterness.
