Like its coffee flavored counterpart (LC Double Java Porter), it sports a dark mahogany body that lets a little light through. There’s a creamy tan head that leaves behind a microfilm sheet of lacing. The aroma is muted, showing roasted caramel, faint chocolate malts, and traces of dark fruits. The flavor is comprised of darkly roasted caramel, nougat, chocolate malts, and mild floral hops. Very malty overall. The body felt less substantial than the Java version, though still nice. Smooth and easy to drink, but lacking depth or originality. Sessionable. I much prefer the Double Java version. Quake1028 (633), Tampa, Florida, USA

Aroma seems a bit muted, but I do pick up some chocolatey notes with some roasted malts. a tinge of acidity. Flavor is light chocolate, some coffee hints. Very drinkable. redlight (1475), Winter Park, Florida, USA

The only info i have is the paper keg ring. maybe this is an alias? but the label says Double Porter. Vanilla, sweet aroma, hints of roasted malts and small amounts of chocolate. Dark brown, very dark red in the light, with a thick tan head. Smooth, roasty, vanilla, hints of chocolate, sweet tasting. Pretty mild but very drinkable.
