Poured from a bottle from my pal Jason, quite carbonated, slight chocolate roasted malt, but very easy drinking, abit bland, but nothing bad at all for this one, and for a VERY good price in So.Cal. could drink this quite often. Thanks Jay!

served cold from a bottle. pours a dark brown, a hint of amber (sorta like soda pop) with a creamy off-white head. aroma of malts and nuts. taste is good. definitely malty and smooth. average for a nut-brown, but i’d drink it again.

33 cl bottle, Manhattan, KS. Translucent cola like colour, creamy almost yellow heaad. Chocolatey aroma, slight bite on the first sip, then smooth and mellow with a long sweet finish.

Not much for aroma. There really wasn’t much head because this bottle may be older since there wasn’t much carbonation to it.

Bottle. Pours dark amber brown with minimal, lacy head. Smells of roasted coffee, malts, cocoa, brown sugar and nuts... very earthy. Tastes are heavily dominated by the roasted coffee flavor, but there are ample notes of cocoa, malts and some hop presence. It’s a medium-bodied beer, a good mixture of heavy and light. It finishes quick with a sweet aftertaste. A very nice brown ale.

Bottle from Sam’s. Pours a brownish amber with a small, tight off-white lace. Nose is sweet and nutty with hints of brown sugar, vanilla, and subtle cocoa. Medium bodied with a pretty good flavor but less pronounced than the aroma. A nice beer to have after work. Un-offensive and easy drinking.

BOTTLE: dark brown, small tan head that quickly disappeared. Smells sweet. Nice crisp palate, medium body, smooth taste with vanilla hints and brown sugar. Short finish is clean and refreshing.

Bottle Dark pour with nice looking head. Mild aroma with a bit of nut and roasted malt. Sweet malt flavor with lingering roastyness. A good brown.
