Good brown. Fruity yeasty, chocolate, coffee aroma. Quite carbonated, dry finish. Some bittering hops to balance the malt.

Color? Guess. Minimal head. Aroma rather nuted nuts and roast, Flavor much the same, roasted character becomes very harsh towards the finish. Rather thin on the palate. sorry I have nothing better to add.

Ruby brown with smaller tan head. Definate toasted malts to smell, with touches of toffee, caramel, roated sugars and chocolate. Medium bodied, a little fruity with a little quiet kick of hops to provide a soft bitterness toawrds the finish. Slight warming sensations and decent mouthfeel. Not a bad brown by any means

bottle. First of all this wasn’t bad for the money. Pours surprisingly dark brown with plenty of carbonation and a dark tan head. Smell of malts, maybe nuttyness, and slightly sweet. Taste of roasted malts, raisins. Taste comes off somewhat flat and one dimensional. Not bad, but not very interesting.

On draught at the Dempsy in Spokane, Wa. Aroma has nuts and roast forward with no real sweetness. Beer has an off white head with good retention and a dark brown color. Flavor is sweet roasted malt forward with medium/high bittering. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium/light carbonation feel. Overall, I thought it was fairly well made with ok complexity. It could do to be a little sweeter for the style. Did not seem american either; more comparable to English styles.

Nice malty aroma, hints of chocolate malt, with some coffee. Pours a dark brown with very little head. Smooth and malty, some caramel, hints of chocolate and nuts. Finishes with a nice litte hoppiness. Not a bad brown.
