Commercial Description:
A smooth, full-bodied nut brown ale, lightly hopped with a hint of roasted and crystal malts. This ale is dark in color without the heavy taste of porter or stout.

This is the best Brown Ale that I can find to date. I wish I could find better just to experience beyond perfection.

I really didn’t like the aftertaste--too chemical and dirty. The color is very nice, but the smell was also chemical. I thought I would like this beer a lot and was disappointed, frankly.

A nice American brown. Like a hoppy American stout, with only a touch less malt. Very dark, very low carbonation; nutty.

A very rich and solid brown ale. Extremely well balanced smooth flavor that is exactly what i want in a brown ale.

12oz, no date. Pours a dark brown with a tiny beige head. Aroma of toasty malts and a little bit of nuts, caramel malts, woody hops (very light). Woody hops again in the taste, caramel malts, more nuttiness, and even a little roasty malts and a lightly chalky, bitter finish. Medium bodied, light-edium carbonation. An above average brown. I think this is one of my lower rated browns.

Bottle poured a clear brown with a small diminishing amber head. Aromas of chocolate, carmel, a bit of hazelnut and a light touch of coffee. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, chocolate, a touch of nuttiness and light fruit with a lingering sweet finish.

This is a great brown ale. The bitterness is just right and the finish nice and slightly bitter. Mouthfeel was smooth and slightly floral. A very good brown ale.

A nice brown pour with an aroma of toasted malt. A nice maltly flavor with no bitter to speak of a very nice beer. I could and would drink many.
