Candied aroma, some toffee, butterscotch and milk chocolate. Meduim sweetness, light balanced finish leaning toward the sweet end. Lacks any nutty or chocolate notes in the flavor. A touch of floral tingles from hops, just a touch. Appealing almost purple color, but virtually no head or effervescence, looks a bit dead in the glass.

I got this beer in my beer club. I am not familiar with this brewer. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium brown color with a small tan head that fades quickly. The aroma is dry roasty malts and light floral hops. The flavor is the same and is nothing to write home about.

Malty and sweet, not too strong. DArk brown color with minimal lacing. Toasted malt and coffee flavors.

On tap at the Library Ale House, Santa Monica, CA. Deep rubyred with a very minimal cloying head. Fruity and caramel aroma. Well-balanced flavours, starting lightly bitter, developing towards a sweeter finish. The caramel flavours reminds me a bit of sweet fruit candy. Fizzy, light to medium body. A rather pleasant thirst-quencher.

Deep dark brown color, clear, with medium sized off white head. Aroma is malty, notes of mapel, vanilla, hint of cherries. Flavor has chewy malts, mapel, molasses, touch of raisens, mildly sweet finish. Not great, but not bad.

65 cl bottle. Dark reddish amber colour with a weak head. Aroma of nuts and toffee. Flavour of caramel and toffee too, also notes of light hoppyness. Little average and dull.
