Bottle. Pours dark amber-brown with beige head. Aroma of yeast and some malt. Medium body. Has the flavors of nuts, dark malts, and a sweet finish It is a little off, but still good. I had it on draught a while back and I think it was better than the bottle.

First of the night. Thanks to ODB! Pours a nice brown with a hint of red. Tan colored head with nice bubbles. Malty aroma. Smooth malty flavor, with just a hint of hop in the finish. Sweet flavors of caramel. All good!

Brown. Light tan head is a bit creamy. No bubbles in the glass. Malt, nuts, caramel, moldy wood?, roasty aroma. Same flavor minus the moldy wood. Very smooth medium body. Decent brown beer.

Dark brown, almost looks black when the glass is full. Little to no head. Hardly any hops. Bit of smoke. Halfway to a porter. Medium bodied.

Draft somewhere east of Crescent City on the last West Coast tour. All right american brown, but don’t go out of your way for this one.

chocolate/nutty tasting beer with a full flavor and virtually no taste of hops at all. small head and very little lacing. not my favorite brown ale, but still a tasty choice.

Very dark brown color with barely any head. Barely any aroma but what is there is chocolate & roasted malts. Flavor chocolate but thin and it has a slight bitter aftertaste.

Draft... Clear, dark ruby ale with a small, creamy, white head. The nose is subtle chocolate, red wine and vanilla. Nicely balanced and a bit tangy. Nutty with chocolate and vineous notes. Medium-bodied and very lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Finishes creamy and barely bitter. Not much to it, really.
