Slightly sweet and toasty malt nose, bolder flavors of cocoa and a hint of hazelnut follow. Finish has a lingering hop spiciness that complements other lingering flavors of nuts and coffee. 5000 (2600), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA

Very pale malty and hop aroma. Subtle hop bite, underlying toasted maltiness, albeit very soft itself. Average body and mouthfeel, although it seems to thin out a bit on the exit. Lingering toasted malts, very smooth and clean. I’d hit it again!

Very smooth, and flavorful. Not quit sure whats up with the picaso style label. But after a few brews, he starts look almost normal. ojclark (69), Santa Monica, California, USA

Couldn’t detect any aroma. Appearance was good when first poured. Deep brown/black with a short, creamy nitro head. Head dissipated quickly but left traces of lace on the side of the glass.
A nicely balanced american brown. A bit light in flavor for my taste but pleasant. Palate was a bit fizzy and thin. kbjames (242), Utah, USA

This is one of the better Brown ales that I’ve tasted. Of course when I was expecting 8 ball, it seemed a little thin. DrunkenWeasel (218), Portland, Oregon, USA
