bottle. I found this beer to be so-so. too smooth, too bland. Maybe I’m just not a big fan of the style...

Bottle Pours a clear but dark brown with a modest sized creamy light tan head. Thick lacing as well. Aroma is fairly sweet nutty roasted. Flavors are roasted hazelnuts and some dark roasted flavors. Body is not very heavy and finish is quick and clean. Not much hops and easy to frink. Nice

Bottle. Dark brown with a hint of red, light tan head that was pretty thin and faded quickly, not much lacing. Aroma is pretty tame, a little bit of malt with hints of coffee. Flavor is kind of nutty, a touch of coffee, kind of roasty, good balance. Smooth, body isn’t near as substantial as a porter, the next step up the dark beer scale, so I thought there was a bit more to be desired there. Not bad overall.

Clear brown with ruby edges and a quickly disappating off-white head. Nutty caramel aroma. Up-front flavor of caramel, roastiness, brown sugar, nuts and chocolate finishing with a hint of nutmeg and cinammon. Pleasantly sweet, mild roasty finish. Medium smooth body with moderate carbonation. No lacing or head retention. Solid, drinkable stuff.

Pours a clear dark brown with some particles floating around , small foamy tan head that leaves some lacing in my glass, roasty nutty-bready aromas. Nutty caramel flavors, finishes on the sweet side. Medium bodied with a kind of watery mouthfeel, a decent brown.

Deep ruby color when held up to bright light. Medium light tan head. Light aroma of malted chocolate shake. Flavor starts lightly sweet, nutty with a hint of coffee and finishes dry with light bitterness. Thin palate. Mild drinkable brew.

Dark brown pour. Not much going on in the aroma. The flavor matches. Kind of a boring beer, but it’s still tasty. I enjoyed drinking it, but it’s nothing spectacular.
