It went down real easy, but it didn’t really catch my attention. Certainly above average Brown Ale though. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 3, 2004 Brown in color,transparent in spots, with a full, fizzy, creamy, dun-colored head.
Aroma: nuts and drizzles of spice, earthy, bits of coffee.
Taste: smooth, non-troubling, goes down easy with not much to get in it’s way.
Rich, earthy, coffee-ish, but not too full or forward, either.
A terribly average-tasting brown ale, but, once in a while, that’s okay, right?
Eh....sorry, i can’t do better, but this is pretty run o’ the mill.

Pours dark brown with a very thin head that is a creamy tan in color. The aroma reminded me of caramel and pecan with a Nutty flavor. All in all it was a very good beer. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA

Has an odd smell that reminds me of old fabric or blankets put away for the winter-not musty, but definitely not fresh. Cola brown with a fast fading head. Spicy, caramel malt and cola combo in the fore. Gets nutty in the middle and that flavor lingers into the finish. Could be a touch thicker.

Dark orange brown color. Small head that faded. Bitter flavors, like the aroma, roasty mealy. Narrow focus. Thin body, Bitter dry finish. Easy drinkin brew, though the mealy thing might turn some people off. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Sep 21, 2004 I don’t often drink bombers solo, but I had a chance to spend some time with this 22 oz bomber. Poured auburn with medium head that left a 1/2" throughout. Plenty of lacing all the way through. Aromas mostly of caramel and light vanilla. I originally wanted to experiment and have this beer 2 years after I bought it so it’s no wonder it’s not as hoppy as what I remember. No worries though, as it still maintained it’s integrity. The taste is woody with lots of nuts, not too sweet and oh so good. I find chocolate scattered everywhere, like an Easter egg hunt. I like the toasty flavor.
