Nose is pretty unimpressive. Some malt, roasted caramel, burnt biscuit present. Flavor is solid, with chocolate, biscuit and caramel being the predominate flavors with some underlying hints of roasted malt. Body is a bit thin. All in all, a decent brown.

ONe of the better browns i have had. Quite flavorfull and delicious. There is a little bit of a burnt taste...and it pours darker than any other brown i have had.

22oz bottle, dark brown with a creamy, tan head. Fairly thin on the palate, roasted malts, crisp finish, a hint of caramel. Good session beer, but a bit underwhelming.

Poured a deep chestnut color. A bit flowery with a dry lightly hopped finish. Good American Brown.

Lots of caramel and malt aromas. Pours a dark amber color with a tan head. Lots of action and too difficult to see the suspension. Sweet caramel taste with a hint of broth and has a bit of a grapefruit background. Medium/moderate bodied, resinous, with soft carbonation. Very drinkable, I think the twist off may cause this to be a little flatter than on tap.

A great beer to start a porter or stout night off with. This has great caramellyness to it and lovely milkiness. A bit like the celebrator, but less bitter and less warm. I would buy this in a six, it is very well priced- $1.49/ 12 oz at Milam’s Supermarket
