12 oz bottle purchased from Frugal MacDoogal’s in Nashville. Poured a dark, slightly murky brown color with a two finger tan colored head that hung on until the beer was gone. The aroma was caramel and toffee, with a hint of nuts. The flavor was caramel malt with a slight hoppy finish. The body was medium with a slightly creamy mouthfeel, and a good bit of carbonation.

Pours an off white to tan head with an amber brown body. Smells of malt, caramel, and a little roasted. Taste of caramel biscuit and a hint of roasted malt. Medium finish.

2008-12-06. Dark brown body with a modest off-white head. (3+) Sweetish malt, light tangy character to the flavour. (6+) Sweet malt aroma, light caramel and dusty malt accents. Average palate. Meh. On tap at Coles, Buffalo

Poured a dark cola color - think head with the appearance of a lot of carbonation. Caramel, toffee and alcohol smell. Smooth tasting with light hops which keeps the beer from getting overly sweet. Could do with a little less on the carbonation but other than that a solid brown ale.

Bottle. Caramelly aroma. Deep reddish brown body, off-white head. Mild earthy/nutty flavor, with some caramel in the finish. A bit overrated, methinks.

Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. Pour produced a dark brown body, topped by a medium head of tan foam. Lightly roasted malt aroma. Medium bodied with an initial sweetness, counterpointed by a slight bitterness at the end. Palate is light roasted malts, with a sweet chocolate undertone. This was an easy drinking beer, which I enjoyed, something that I would go back to.
