Dark brown colour is nice, but it’s flat-looking, with no head. Nutty aroma with some chocolate malts. Moderate body, some nutty, slightly earthy character. Perhaps a shade of tartness. Low hopping. Sweetish finish, again leaning towards nutty with chocolate accents. I’d call it a middlin’ brown.

Brown color; poor head. Very nice aroma, hoppy; litchee, flowers. Average body, quitre weak and a bit sweet, but the flowery/fruitness (litchee) is still present… Just some caramel. Strange but pleasant (because of the litchee.

Tasting Notes from Fall 2000: I understand this is their most popular beer, but I don’t understand why. I kept waiting for it to do something. It has minimal flavor
