el_caballo (101), Beverly Hills, California, USA May 7, 2008 Not bad at all, chocolate comes out straight away both in the aroma and flavor, a bit too sweet for my tastes but very drinkable
PolakPorter (74), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 31, 2008 Brown. Slight opaquacity. Good viscosity. Minimal uniquity. Certainly enjoyable and drinkable, yet lacks character. Not a whole lot better than Newcastle. Maybe it’s better on tap... jcdsmack (33), Henderson, Nevada, USA Aug 26, 2008 Pours a a nice dark brown with a tan head a malty aroma chocolate and some roast. Light hop aroma kinda generic nothing special nothing bad just average it does improve with temperature. daknole (697), Plantation, Florida, USA Aug 26, 2008 What a surprise, pours a BROWN color! Head is beige colored. Aroma is nutty and sweet as expected. Flavor is also nutty and a tad sweet wtih some good malt, and maybe even a touch of vanilla. Not bad, not amazing either. DonKi11uminati (11), , California, USA Aug 25, 2008 Bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. The aroma is light and sweet with a hint of roast and chocolate. Palate has medium body and above average carbonation. Flavor has malt, chocolate, nuts, caramel, with the malt dominating, but all understated. Flavors quickly vanish with some light hops on the finish. There’s nothing particularly surprising in the flavor, but this is pleasant and easy to drink. SSSteve (1526), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Aug 23, 2008 clear dark brown in color under a small, creamy tan head. somewhat weak aroma of caramel and brown sugar. flavors of roasted malt with brown sugar, caramel, and toasted nuts. light floral hoppy finish. light bodied. an enjoyable brown but not amazing.
