| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 13, 2007 On tap. Small head with overpowering lemon and citrus aroma. Like someone squeezed a whole lemon into the glass before I took a sip. Taste is smooth and quite light. Finish fades weakly. I’m not getting any heavy mouthfeel though, just a continuous barrage of citrus and lemon. This is nothing like a Belgian wit to my taste; this is less complex and enjoyable. Mothership Wit is a more exciting drink in the style to me. Fine for a glass and certainly beats any generic domestic but wouldn’t seek it out again. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 10, 2007 Pours golden with no head, moderate carbonation. Toasted grain aroma. Flavor is slightly spicy, must be the coriander. Body is a little heavier than expected (and heavier than desired). I’d pass on this next time. dwedin (238), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 8, 2007 Pale straw, little or no head. Mild aromas of orange, bread, pineapple, a little nutmeg and of course coriander. Good flavor but not much of it. Cappadonna (104), Delray Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 22, 2007 Pours golden yellow with frothy a white head that sizzles. It has a sweet-lemony aroma, like a good smelling dish detergent. The flavor is mild with a mellow sweetness and herbal kick. Very smooth and enjoyable. GlenVargas (120), El Paso, Texas, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 11, 2007 Great White (bottle) didn’t even seem like a real witbier to me, more like a bland, bready American wheat. The citrus and coriander are in there, but not nearly as much as other brews of this style. This beer looks and smells fine, but the taste is way too blah and the finish is kind of rotten. Give me just about any other hefe or witbier on a hot day. keepersj12 (805), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA

It’s a bit too orangy for my taste though but I still like it. irishcarbomber (3), California, USA does not count | 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 20/20 | Sep 7, 2007 I had a keg of this at my graduation party and it has never disappointed. Beautiful gold with just a slight haze compared to other unfiltered beers. The "secret blend of Humboldt herbs" might be what makes it one of my favorite brews.
