| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 4, 2006 A golden pour with a slight aroma of musty fruit (not in a bad way). A flavor of spiced fruit with the slight off bitter that I’ve found in each of the style that I’ve tried. A nice palate not watery and not over carbonated. I liked this beer. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 26, 2006 I found this beer to be plain and utterly unimpresive. I got it off tap and it was a golden hue with no head. Scent was weak caught hints of fruit (pear, apple, banana) a very slight cinnamon and a very weird Feta cheese scent. Very small taste banana and pear undertones of spicy citrus and alchohol. Watery mouth feel over carbonated. illinismitty (1809), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 23, 2006 Updated: Jul 24, 2006Bottle purchased at Premier Gourmet. Pours golden with a diminishing white fizzy head. Aroma of orange zest, spices, yeast esters, with some perfumyness. Boy the texture is real thin on this. Lots of coriander in the flavor, backed by spices and watery wheat malt. Crisp, thin, and slight white pepper finish. This is not a great wit, and I would label this as a summer spice beer. A little more depth overall would greatly improve this beer. This is disappointing considering that Lost Coast brews Indiga and 8 Ball. "Great White" should be changed to "Nurse Shark." Would work for a lawnmower beer I guess. blackmurder (170), sadf, Hawaii, USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jul 19, 2006 Such a tasty beer. Pours golden with a one finger head. The aroma is that of good lager and citrus fruits. Very appealing. The taste is a sure winner. Crisp, refreshing, even playful. The citrus is what makes this beer exceptional. Very clean tasting, a unique beer that goes well with dinner. An amazing version of a hard to brew beer. I am suprised at all the low ratings....perhaps Oregon gets the good batches? keoki182 (305), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 16, 2006 Pale yellow with good white head. Smells quite citrusy; tastes similarly. Good crisp feel, extremely refreshing. This wit has no aftertaste. I really enjoyed this hidden gem. 00cobraR (1103), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 16, 2006 Pours out a slightly cloudy color with a decent head. Aroma was citrusy, malty, and floral. Flavor was sweet and grassy. This brew was a bit thin. NachlamSie (1657), Tennessee, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 10, 2006 bottle. Piss pour with no head at all. The label claims the contents are unfiltered, but from the incredibly transparent pour, I find it hard to believe. The aroma is of skunk with the faintest bananas. The flavor hints at remarkably thin corriander and watered down banana juice which may have been filtered through socks. This is not good. Firemoose15 (542), Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 10, 2006 Bottle. Aroma of light lemon and very light floral hops. Pour was a cloudy golden. Flavor was as described in nose. Palate was thin and easy. Overall it was okay.
