Commercial Description:
An American version of the Belgian style. This unfiltered beer has a striking translucent, golden color with white clouds. Seemingly a contradiction in terms, it has a full body mouth-feel but is surprisingly light to drink. Topped with a hint of citrus, provided by Coriander and a secret blend of Humbolt herbs, this beer is slightly sweet and a delight to drink in any season.

light summery beer with a hint of citrus in the aroma and flavor. doesn’t stand out in any catergories, but still a light tasty option.

Cloudy yellowish white. Nice head. Smells somewhat fruity and you can smell the corriander a bit. Citrusy taste. I get a little of the corriander in the finish. It is refreshing a good summer beer especially for us in Florida. On tap at Redlight Redlight in Winter Park

Pours a hazy straw gold color and is topped by a frothy pale white head. Wow the aroma is interesting, it has a candied orange peel not to it that is much different than I typically find in a Wit, it is almost like an orange cream soda with notes of vanilla. The taste is dry and tart up front and the finish has that note of orange cream, but it is a bit subtler than the aroma. There is a very subtle, earthy, coriander note, but this is quite tame, which is good as I don’t like a strong coriander note in beer. This beer is nice and light, and quite quaffable; a perfect summer refresher. Not quite as complex as the best Wits, but still easily drinkable and this beer style is my lawn-mower-beer of choice.

The nose is a weak aroma but does have a nice white ale smell to it made up of orange, coriander, and deoderant. The same can be said about the flavor: orange peel, lemon shavings and nice big spicy touch of spices and coriander. Also has a similarity to having an air freshner taste in flavor too as strange as that may sound. Glowing yellow hue that is full of sediment and looks like banana seeds floating about. Very small head even after swiriling the bottom portion i poured which was mostly foam. Overall, this is a nice witbier from coming out of California. Bottled on March, 2005.

Not sure what the shark plays in this. Hopefully he didn’t piss in the bottle. Very cloudy pour with a lemon.lime nose. a little bitter on the end, but the beer overall is smooth. Doesn’t really gather your attention like getting bit by a shark on a nice summer day.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with no head. Aroma is very lemony with some hops in there. Flavor is weak but there is some lemon and orange in there just nothing to really leave you wanting more. Overall pretty weak and bland.

Bottle: Hazy yellow, visible sediment floating about, moderate white fizzy head, settles quickly, spotty lacing, minor carbonation.   Light citrus peel and corriander nose.   Even detecting a bit of pale fruit.   Odd, almost a peach or apricot like fruity start, followed by a more traditional Witbier.    Decent body, moderate wheaty mouthfeel.   Very light spicy finish.   Nothing shattering, but very quaffable.
