Commercial Description:
An American version of the Belgian style. This unfiltered beer has a striking translucent, golden color with white clouds. Seemingly a contradiction in terms, it has a full body mouth-feel but is surprisingly light to drink. Topped with a hint of citrus, provided by Coriander and a secret blend of Humbolt herbs, this beer is slightly sweet and a delight to drink in any season.

Typical witbier, with a sort of funky smell (in this batch at least) good looking for a witbier but only average in taste. Still very excellent on a hot day, and generally an inexpensive choice for a witbier out west. Not Lost Coast’s best but still worth a taste.

Cloudy hazy light pale golden color, spicy, earthy citrus aromas, nice white frothy head that sticks to the sides of my glass. Fresh wheat and mild spice flavors, crisp carbonated mouthfeel, finishes clean and dry, good for the style and very average.

Bottle. Pale golden color, little white head leaving little lacing. Aroma is of lemon peel without much else, not too impressive. Flavor dominates of citrus flavors, a hint of wheat, can definetly taste some coriander, fairly sweet and crisp, but kind of harsh. Mouthfeel is pretty weak, not much body to this one and not really that smooth. Not really impressed by this one, didn’t have the nice rounded flavor and smooth body of Hoegaarden.

Pouring a hazy straw color with a short-lived white head, this has the odd aroma of candied oranges and candied lemons. The taste is a grassy malt with a light lemon twist and hints of spices. The finish is quick and clean. Drinkable, but strange for a wit.

Secret blend of Humbolt herbs? The only herbs they grow in humbolt that I know of will cause you to fail a piss test, so I hope it’s not that. lol Pours out hazy cloudy orangy yellow, with a big fluffy white head. Head dies rather quickly and leaves spotty lacing.
Aroma is very light, lemony sweet and a little yeast.
Flavor is light as well. Tiny bit of citrus and a hint of dustiness and wheat.
Finish is short and clean.
O.K beer, I would drink this if you gave me one but I wouldn’t hunt it down.

Pours a hazy golden/orange color. Aroma is somewhat grainy and sweet. Yeasty as well. Light grainy bitter flavor. Easy drinking, light and refreshing but not a whole lot going on. Average, I would say.

Thin white head, poor retention. Citrus aroma dominates, notes of artifical fruitiness. SLightly opaque white tinged golden yellow; Americanized wit beer appearance. Wheaty tang followed by a sweet fruity flavor reminiscent of peaches and melon. Slight coriander flavors make an appearance. Marred by a decidedly artificial characteristic to the fruit flavors. Very smooth and drinkable, moreso as warming dampens the sweetness of the finish
