boFNjackson (542), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 1, 2008 Bottle... Poured clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of dank citrus fruit and spices. Tasted more lagerish/golden ale than a Wit, they must have forgotten what style they were brewing. Spices and citrus-like hops with other flavors of yeast, malt and maybe coriander. This style is so specific and can be great, I just hate that a lot of brewers make it lazily.
SamGamgee (593), Santa Cruz, California, USA Oct 12, 2008 12ox bottle. Slight haze in a yellow body, medium head. Light spice and citrus aroma. Slight wheat and orange flavor. A bit sweet, with low bitterness. Pretty boring, but good drinkability. As a wit, it sucks, but as a generic wheat ale, I can handle it. Tipsy_McStager (823), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Oct 6, 2008 Aroma is grassy, some yeast. Pours a pale golden yellow, thin head. Watery with a dry finish. Uninspiring. changeup45 (581), Orlando, Florida, USA Oct 5, 2008 Golden color, some carbonation, and pours with a thin white head. Lacing was spotty. The aroma is malt, yeast, and some light citrus fruit. Light-bodied, slightly zesty tasting, with coriander and some lemons with a soft wheat taste but also quite watery. Not bad, it’s refreshing and drinkable but not much more than that. AgentSteve (861), SF Bay Area, California, USA Sep 29, 2008 Pours a hazy bright golden with two finger foamy white head. The nose is yeast and a bit herbal. The flavor is similar, but a bit more refreshing. A bit sweet in the finish. Enjoyable after a early softball game in 80 degree weather. carruthm (434), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 28, 2008 V - very pale yellow with a slightly cloudy body and a springy white head
