blackmurder (164), sadf, Hawaii, USA Jul 19, 2006 Such a tasty beer. Pours golden with a one finger head. The aroma is that of good lager and citrus fruits. Very appealing. The taste is a sure winner. Crisp, refreshing, even playful. The citrus is what makes this beer exceptional. Very clean tasting, a unique beer that goes well with dinner. An amazing version of a hard to brew beer. I am suprised at all the low ratings....perhaps Oregon gets the good batches?
ucusty (1062), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Sep 4, 2008 Light gold pour. white head and spotty lace. Wheat aroma. Thin bodied with tastes of citrus and coriander Patricia1290 (1), San Diego, California, USA does not count Sep 1, 2008 Pours light golden, head dissipates quickly. Smells of wheat, citrus. Very lively wheat and citrus taste, and I love the notes of herbs. Hazy and unfiltered but light. A bit weak taste and carbonation, and the sweetness doesn’t blend perfectly. Still a very good light beer. Prometheus (30), Richmond, Virginia, USA Aug 26, 2008 Pours pale golden with little to no head.
Wheat, lemon, herbs aroma.
Nice carbonation and fruity flavor.
Not a bad light beer but not my favorite. michael-pollack (1394), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 20, 2008 12oz. Bottle: Slight aroma of corn and a little citrus. Poured yellow in color with a tiny white head that disappeared immediately. Cloudy. Slightly sparkling. Full of tiny particles. Cloudy piss. Lightly sweet flavor. Tastes of citrus, lemon, lime, and herbs. Soda-like. Light to medium body. Oily texture becomes chalky and dry. Average carbonation. Dry, citrus finish. Not really a Witbier. NoiZe (904), Zeist, Netherlands Aug 12, 2008 Tasted @ the Loast Coast Brewery in Eureka.
Grassy and lemon aroma. Fruity, coriander and malty flavor. Not bad, a bit light.
