Light wheat ale. Cloudy golden, grainy wheat, drinkable. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany Apr 29, 2007 At the Brewery September 2006: Nice orange color with a medium head. Grainy nose. Also some yeast in the taste. Light all and all - drinkable. pivo (2535), Germany Apr 8, 2007 Slightly dusty nose, hazed khaki-gold color. Light grainy body, faint hint of banana. Very weak in body and flavor but not really flawed. OK beer (barely OK). hayduke (1618), Eureka, California, USA Jul 9, 2006 Updated: Apr 8, 2007Draft at the Lost Coast Brewery and Cafe. A cloudy golden pour with a medium sized white head that left decent lacing. Clearly a wheat in the aroma along with a hint of hops. Favor is light malt with some fruit, mostly banana. The mouthfeel is actually quite nice, and while overall this beer is a little light, it is very easy to drink and has a fine finish. A good example of an American Wheat. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA Aug 25, 2005 (Draft: Lost Coast Brewery & Cafe) Not much to say about this Harvest Wheat, although the snazzy-sounding name makes it seem like it will be an interesting beer. The mild, lightly sweet wheat flavor, modest lemon citrus, and gentle bitterness make for a pretty generic American style wheat beer. Light wheat aroma isn’t bad, but not enticing either. Light body, kind of watery in the finish. The beer’s color is banana-apricot, and fully cloudy. Whitish head is fairly small when poured, settling to a thin but complete layer, and leaving patches of lace on the glass. For the masses. motelpogo (4394), Plzen, Czech Republic Sep 5, 2004 on tap at the brewery. one of the better american wheats, light banana and vanilla aroma, lemony but fresh duff (5474), Surrey, Greater London, England Jun 1, 2004 Tap@Lost Coast. Clovey banana, mostly lemon and hops, clovey though, not bad, one of th ebetter American wheats i’ve had.
