Grainy, bready flavor with a nice boost from bittering floral hops. Alcohol nicely masked in this amazing beer. Not a typical pils, but quite nicely crafted. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 28, 2008 On tap at Capone’s. Pours a hazy golden orange with a medium creamy/bubbly white head that left some lacing. Aroma of sweet almost candy like maltiness, citrus, floral and lightly spicy hop notes and honey nut cheerios. Flavor of spicy, citrusy notes. Noble hops, lots of malty sweetness, but finishes dry. Hop bitterness is there, light alcohol and grainy notes. Iced tea flavor as it warmed up. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA

carbonation. Mealy nose, certainly malty, but also a fairly strong hop aspect. Even a slight floral hint. Seems decent
enough. Forwardly hoppy, a little bit of heat, decent malt background. Not as flavorful as the nose suggested but still quite
good. Fairly clean. This certainly feels like an Imperial Pilsner. More hops than most. Body and mouthfeel are full
to moderate. Warming finish. I enjoyed this one even if it was a little abrasive. Will probably mellow with time.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 25, 2008 At the brewpub, this was a cloudy orange, with small white pub head and light lacing. Nose of malts and citrus hops. Rich mouttfeel. Flavor is mostly citrus and pine hops, and the finish is nicely bitter. Hides the alcohol well. Easy drinking for such a high alcohol beer. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jul 27, 2009 Aroma has some hop oil, ranging from nail polish remover-like scents to some floral aromas. A little boring and unusual in appearance, with a flat look, a little collar with a cloudy golden color. A very good malt undertone with biting hop qualities and some sharpness in flavor. Very nutty and somewhat velvety finish and a bit of the bitter. redlight (1471), Winter Park, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 21, 2007 Fruity aroma, some citrusy notes, clean and spicy. Pours rich gold color with a thick white head. Crisp, cereal, great pilsner flavor, kicked up a notch. One of the better imperial pils i’ve had actually. Suttree (2722), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Sep 24, 2007 Cloudy orange, thin white head. Smells kind of sweet and sour. Its heavy - overly so, actually - and sweet at first, then a nice bitter finish. On tap, Barley’s Aheville.
