| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 7, 2008 Dark orange, with a nice unfiltered haze, a thick head and nice retention and lacing. Nose is grapefruit, but is nutty as well. Palate is thick and chewy, with a tar feel at some points. It is mostly hoppy with the malt in the back. Liked it. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 27, 2008 smells fruity, malt sweetness. pours a cloudy orange with a nice fluffy head and great lacing. malty IPA, very sweet and thick. hops linger in the finish, but don’t overpower. i think this is an older bottle. maybe i can find it on tap eventually to know it’s fresh. hate it when that happens. clingman71 (261), Centerville, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 20, 2008 cloudy orangish color with a solid slighlty off white head. Pretty good citrus aroma. Malt up front with the hops building throughout. Nice long hoppy bitter/dry finish, gets that beautiful resinous mouthfeel going(which I love). Seems to get hoppier as you drink it, kind of like spicy food that sneaks up on you istead of just smacking you in the face. Very nice, but not quite elite. chicagodri (1074), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 26, 2008 Poured orange copper with a generous head, good retention and a beautiful, intricate, thick lacing. Strong cirus and floral hops with a hint of pine. Very strong and bitter pine hops flavor with hardly any malt sweetness offsetting it. Crisp finish, plenty of carbonation, and a slightl warming alcohol sensation. drjay44 (820), Salida, Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 24, 2008 Updated: Jun 27, 200912 oz. bottle. Unfortunately the glass had been carefully made frosty cold by the restaurant and it took a while to warm up. Pours a nice thick head with good retention and attractive lacing, over a light brown, slightly cloudy body....nose of huge hops with some floral overlay and a bit of sour ending....tastes of slight early malts then layers of hop flavors. Mouth feel is good and somewhat chewy.
