Aug 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours orange with a yellow head. Sweet hoppy aroma with caramel, orange, and candy sugar. Flavor is a bit more bitter than the aroma with more floral and grassy hops. Nice.

Hazy orange colored brew. Nice hoppy aroma. A bit grassy. Crispy, malty and some hopbitterness. Could use some more body.

Aug 11, 2008 2008 Bottle - Pours light brown with a small white head...aroma is great, grassy hop florals with subtle malt notes, flavour follows..decent balance, but the bitterness outlasts the taste, and comes up a bit one dimensional...alcohol is incredibly well hidden, good beer, just not great...

Aug 10, 2008 12 oz. into pint glass. Great hazy copper honey brown color with a huge rocky white head that leaves great chunky lace. The aroma is dominated by great fresh sweet citrus hop notes with a nice rich pale malt character to balance the hops out. The flavor starts with bitter pine and resinous hops upfont, which morphs into a sweeter citrus hop character with a consistent full bodied malt character behind the hops - very full flavored for single IPA. No alcohol in the flavor. Medium bodied on the palate with medium to soft carbonation. Overall: solid IPA that stands up to the best of them.

Aug 7, 2008 355 ml bottle. Hazy orange body with a white head. Strong hoppy/fruity aroma with some caramel. Flavor is sweet malt and citrus bitter. It’s nice, it’s typical west coast micro IPA, it’s clean, it’s definitively not originally but I enjoyed it.

Aug 6, 2008 Another west coast IPA that is a little too bitter for its own good. Although, this one has an abnormal hop flavor that rides the back of that bitter which is nice. Chill haze? Really? Lost coast has a pretty good recipe here but it comes up short. Head vanishes quickly, but the carbonation sticks around. The malt is solid, hops are solid and an interesting mix. Solid, but there are a lot of better IPAs floating around here.

Aug 5, 2008 Solid IPA. Distinct citrus flavored hops with a lot of pine and lemon. Wish color was more red than golden/orange, and the mouthfeel was really bubbly, almost like champagne. Good stuff overall.

Aug 5, 2008 that’s a good IPA. strong, sweet, woodsy flavor. not very foamy, but nice color. but the smell and taste is very refreshing and diverse.
