pours hazy orange brown. little head. smells very balanced between malt and hops maybe a little more on malt. fresh. mouthfeel is bity and refreshing. lots of hops on the taste... not overdone. right on target. leaves long bitter taste, but a little one, if that makes sense. very nice beer!

Pours hazily amber with thin white head and decent retention. Mouth feel has adequate body. Definate recognition of hops through the tongue, but definately not overwhelming. Hops with notes of citrus. Enjoyable middle of the road IPA.

Distinct tangerine hop aroma. Not super bitter. More citrus flavor with hints of cedar. Very nice.

12oz bottle. Couldn’t find a date on it, and in retrospect, I wish it had one because this definitely tastes a little old. Either that, or I’m way to used to more straight hop-bomb beers. Nice amber-orange color with a pillowy head. Aroma of candied grapefruit and orange; a little malty. The flavor is a thick maltiness with a kiss of grapefruity hops and some melon-like fruitiness. Pretty weak on the hops if you ask me. Not bad at all, but I was definitely looking for more hops when I picked this up. the mouthfeel is pretty full and a little unclean. Tastes like a decent, balanced pale ale. I’m hoping that this was just a little old because the hops could use a boost.

Bottle from Foodery. Dark orange amber color with sediment floating all over even thought the last 1 cm of the bottle was not poured. Thick caramel cookie dough malt aroma with pine/grapefruit and perfumey hops. A lot of malt and yeast upon tasting. Interesting that an IPA showcases malt and yeast right up with the hops. Really sweet. Mildy bitter. Thick soft mouthfeel.

In short: A yeasty full body dirty IPA. Tasty and anything but clean.
How: Bottle 12oz, from hopscotch. Thanks a lot Eric. Fresh, consumed within days after receiving it.
The look: Beautiful cloudy dark orange body with a medium beige head
In long: Nose of pine-cone juice and orange. Yeasty, doughy, dusty and overall quite “dirty”. Tasty caramel, earthy/dirty pine-cones, coniferous tree bark, orange flavoured dough. This beer is actually quite dry and that dryness seems to come from a doughy and powdery yeast. This is not a thin hops-juice bottle, to the contrary…. or maybe not, what’s the contrary of a hops-juice bottle? A milk-chocolate bottle?

bottle at Undertow in Vero Beach, FL. Very hoppy IPA.... full of hops in the aroma, thick piney and citrus hops come alive on the nose. Medium to full body over the palate with a nice lingering bitter finish. Pours a deep golden/amber color with a decent white head. An above average IPA by far - quite delicious. Highly recommended for hop lovers out there - Lost Coast didn’t skimp on the hops in this one.

12oz - Aroma of caramel malt followed by pine and earthy hops. Pours copper with a medium head and great lacing. Flavor matches aroma. Palate is sticky and tart. A nice session IPA. It is full bodied and full flavored without being too strong or bitter.
