I really like how this beer has a grapefruit kick to it. Nice and hoppy too. Not something to pair food with, but thats most IPAs for me. Great beer.

bottle poured a hazy orange copper color with loads of fine sediment and a thick two finger light tan head that fell slowly and had great retention. aroma has sweet sticky citrus hops, caramel malt, and light nutmeg. mouth feel is medium light with active carbonation frothing up. flavor comes off with resiny citrus hop, bitters, and caramel malt. finish becomes resiny and bitter with dryness. very nice ipa but it looses it’s citrus in the bitterness.

pours into the glass a deep copper with a white head. Aroma is full of hops with a hint of a bubble gum aroma. The flavor is crisp and clean.

Tasted 4/28/08. 12oz bottle. Mildly hazy with a honey amber hue. Lacing off-white head. Hoppy aromas. Orange citrus and grapefruit. Solid nose. Medium bodied and crisp. Typical West Coast style. Bright crisp and tangy. Mild malts and all hops. Rolling palate. Caught in a wave of similar brands. Solid, but no real standout characteristics.

Bottle from BevMo!. I like this, but am having a hard time justifying a rating over 3.5 for this. Hard to detect any aroma. Pours a cloudy copper color with a persistant light beige head. Complex flavor with sweet malty taste and grapefruit, with a bitter hop aftertaste. Goes down smooth for an IPA. I’m not a big IPA fan, but liked this.

IPA tasting Three Cellars, Milwaukee. On the thin side but still good. Hops and a little malt taste. Good but not great.

On draft at OTH. A really good IPA-one of the best I’ve had. A crisp and almost spicy hoppy flavor, but smooth and rich.

Pours with a largish, off-white, rocky head covering a hazy orange body with some small particles floating around. Good lacing and some retention left. Aroma is sweet, with a lot of nice floral hops (Centennial?). Taste is a bit on the thin side, with lingering bitterness.
