This one is a very nice semi-hazy orange/copper with a large beige head. Nose is grapefruit, pine, and a bit of spice....sort of like a cross between Cascade, Centennial and chinook/Simcoe hops. Tastes just like it smells, with some orange flavor comig through as well, and a good strong malt backbone, with a lot of crystal malt to hold the hops in check...makes it a very balanced bittersweet finish and aftertaste. Carbonation is medium, body is medium/full. This is a wonderful world class IPA....oh and it looks like from the description, i got at least 1 of the 3 hops right, lol...

22oz bottle via HAgen. Pours a hazy orange with a large off-white head. Nose is delightful centennial hops..love me some Centennials. Taste starts with some sweetness, then quickly slams you with the bittering Columbus hops...a mouthful of graepfruit, then comes the orangepeal/pine chewy bliss from the Centennials, and a little earthiness from the willamette hops. Finish is a bit drier than i like and a tad astringent, but overall is quite delicious, Body is medium. Carbonation is moderate. Very nice for $3.19 a bomber!! biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA

Beer is unfiltered and has lots sediment and floaties. Has a nice citrus and floral aroma. Flavor is also very hoppy with hints of citrus, floral, and pine. Mouthfeel is nice and left decent lacing. A good beer I really enjoyed. doubleo (1121), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 27, 2008 On-tap. Pours a slightly yellow orange color with a nice thick, frothy head that laces the glass. Smells of hops mostly, citrusy and grassy, with some strong malts in the background. This is the maltiest tasting IPA I have ever had. It’s got both, malt and hops but the hops and the malts are kind of a 50/50 on the palate. Still enough hop bitterness though for this to be a nice IPA. Thin mouthfeel, with a bit of a metallic carbonation to it. Pretty good brew. It won’t knock you off your stool with it’s hoppiness, but its good. MiP (9160), Sønderborg, Denmark

Very nice hop flavour, spicy and fruity. Also creamy with a hint of apricot. Good, cleansing bitterness. Quite good beer and very well-balanced. Sanchex (224), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 9, 2008 The floaters in this beer creep me out. They seem more prevalent in this one than any other I’ve ever seen. Doesn’t seem to affect the taste but it does affect the appearance score. This would actually be a beautiful beer if it weren’t for them. Looks like glowing honey when you hold it up to the sunlight.
Smells very balanced with both the hops and malts shining through.
Extremely balanced taste to this one as well. Nice and hoppy but still has a good malt presence.
Extremely drinkable beer. Definite session beer if you can get over the sediment. tomthompson89 (1494), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
